Spring is just around the corner, and even the Department of Industry, Science, Energy & Resources (the Department) has been doing some spring cleaning.
The Department has just released its “refreshed” version of the principal guidance product for the R&D Tax Incentive program, namely the Guide to Interpretation. To view this refreshed Guide, please click here. The Department is seeking feedback on the following areas:
- whether you think the refreshed Guide is easy to read and understand
- if there is any further guidance that can be provided to business to assist with assessment of eligibility
- if, and when, you will use the refreshed Guide
The Department has promised to “then adopt feedback that will assist business understanding.”
MJA will of course be reviewing the material and will submit our feedback to the Department and we encourage you to do the same. Submissions close on Friday 25 September 2020.
